Sexual and Gender Based Violence is a menace that sneaks up on people of all classes and we deemed it fit that the message should reach the young as well.
Adjen Kotoku Senior High was a major beneficiary of our Senior High School Sensitization Programme. They were educated on the what constitutes abuse (physical, sexual, verbal and emotional) and the right channels to seek for help when abused. The Domestic Violence Acts were distributed as well as Sanitary Pads and food for refreshments. The Headmistress and some staff of Adjen Kotoku Senior High, The Executive Director of Ufeministi Anyidado and her team and some representatives from the Social Welfare were present to grace the occasion.
